🕓 4 o'clock tour of the farm & barn featuring a discussion on the business of operating a farm and an insider view on the working relationships between Farmer/Chefs.
🕔 5 o'clock start time for Prairie Grass Cafe dinner. 20 people plus Thea and Gabriel (the farmers) will sit down and have a communal style dinner and discussion! (The Dinner will be outside under the tent. If the weather doesn't cooperate the private dining room will be made available.)

A bit about us: Soil and Soul is a small, organic farm servicing families and restaurants in the Chicagoland area. We grow nutrient dense food using regenerative methods that replenish the soil rather than deplete it. Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program provides families with high-quality produce and allows them to experience the micro-seasons of our midwestern ecosystem. We also offer a private farming service which allows clients to customize their produce subscription. We grow their preferred crops and/or speciality varieties and deliver everything to them. Currently we are based in Northbrook, just minutes away from Prairie Grass. For the 2022 growing season, we will be moving the farm to Long Grove and expanding our operation. As a therapeutic farm, we serve the youth and members of the community struggling with their mental health through ecological and mind-body practices.
